What PNG to PDF does
PNG to PDF embeds up to twenty decoded PNG images into a new document. Each source gets its own A4-size portrait or landscape page, chosen from its aspect ratio, with proportional fitting and a 24-point margin.
Transparent PNG pixels remain in the embedded image data, although a normal PDF page is commonly displayed against white. The conversion does not analyze pixels for text or turn labels into editable characters.
How to use PNG to PDF
- Choose up to twenty verified PNG files, each up to 20 MB.
- Review the selected order because it becomes the PDF page sequence.
- Create the document, inspect transparent edges and page fit, then download the PDF.
Important details
Images fit without cropping
The complete PNG is scaled proportionally and centered inside the page margin. Extra page space can appear when the image and A4 page ratios differ.
PNG alpha is not a PDF page background
Alpha can remain in the embedded PNG, but PDF viewers normally show unpainted page areas as white. Do not assume transparency will composite identically in every downstream print workflow.

Privacy and limitations
PNG decoding and PDF assembly occur entirely in the browser, so the selected files are not uploaded to PagesTools.
A maximum of twenty PNGs of 20 MB each can be selected, within a 100-page and browser-canvas budget. The converter does not provide OCR, page-size controls, cropping, captions, or editable reconstruction of text and graphic objects.
