What Remove PDF Pages does
Remove PDF Pages parses a selection such as 2, 4-6, excludes those physical positions, and copies all remaining pages into a new document. At least one page must remain, preventing an invalid empty output.
Physical positions start at one and can differ from labels printed on the page. The operation removes whole pages only; it does not erase selected text, hidden objects, metadata, attachments, or sensitive content elsewhere in the PDF.
How to use Remove PDF Pages
- Select one verified PDF no larger than 25 MB.
- Enter the physical page numbers or ranges to remove, such as 2, 4-6.
- Create the new PDF and verify its remaining page order and content before downloading or sharing.
Important details
The source file is not modified
The browser copies retained pages into a separate PDF. Keep the original until you have confirmed that the removal list used physical positions and did not exclude required content.
Page removal is not redaction
Deleting entire pages does not inspect retained pages, metadata, annotations, attachments, or hidden layers for sensitive material. Use a dedicated reviewed redaction process for confidential information.
Practical uses
- Remove blank scanner pages from a short document.
- Exclude an unneeded appendix before creating a working copy.
- Delete duplicate whole pages from a locally assembled PDF.
Privacy and limitations
The PDF and removal selection remain in the browser while retained pages are copied. PagesTools does not upload the file.
The source is limited to 25 MB and 100 pages, and at least one page must remain. Encrypted, corrupt, or detectably active PDFs are rejected; page copying may affect signatures and document-level features, and this tool is not secure redaction.
