What JPG Converter does

Important details
One visible image is exported
The converter produces one JPEG. Animated or multi-image sources are flattened to the single image decoded for the canvas, so use a frame-aware editor when every frame or page is required.
Browser codec support matters
AVIF decoding depends on native browser support, while other accepted formats also need to decode successfully on the current device. A valid extension alone is not enough; the file signature is checked before conversion.

Privacy and limitations
Supported files are signature-checked and converted on the device. PagesTools does not receive the source image for this browser tool.
The input limit is 20 MB, with canvas limits of 12,000 pixels per side and 40 megapixels. JPEG cannot preserve alpha transparency, animation, multiple TIFF pages, layers, or source metadata, and AVIF requires native decode support.
