What SVG Converter does
Despite its short name, SVG Converter takes raster PNG or JPEG input and approximates the image with vector paths. It uses a fixed 16-color tracing configuration designed to simplify recognizable areas rather than reproduce every pixel exactly.
One input downloads as an SVG, while multiple inputs are collected into a ZIP. Logos and flat illustrations generally trace more cleanly than photographs, noise, soft shadows, or subtle gradients.

Important details
Tracing is an approximation
The tracer groups raster colors and follows their boundaries with paths. Curves, small text, antialiasing, and gradients can change because there is no original vector geometry to recover.
Complex sources create complex markup
A photograph can generate many irregular paths while still looking less accurate than the raster original. Cropping, cleaning the background, and reducing colors before tracing often gives a more usable SVG.

Privacy and limitations
Tracing and ZIP creation run in the browser. The PNG and JPEG source files are not uploaded to PagesTools.
Only PNG and JPEG raster inputs are accepted, up to ten at once. The 16-color trace does not reconstruct original fonts, layers, strokes, gradients, or precise vector shapes, and photographic results may be large and difficult to edit.
